"Diane Richie also lists yearly expenses of $20,000 for plastic surgery and $125,000 for tuition at her 9-year-old son's Colorado boarding school," CNN continued, "which she says she tries to visit at least once a month -- at a cost of between $15,000 and $20,000."

It is worth noting that, unlike Alexander, Richie's expenses during that same era were not reported on. In all likelihood, Richie spent just as much if not much more on his expenses at the time CNN published their report.

On top of CNN revealing Alexander's expenses, they also revealed where she was living while she and Richie figured out their divorce. If most couples who were divorcing lived like Richie and Alexander did when they were breaking up, that would be a recipe for disaster.

While reporting on Alexander's legal filing, CNN revealed what she told the court about her living circumstances at that time.
